“Following a private cremation, a Service of Thanksgiving will take place at St. Martins Church, Bowness-on-Windermere on Friday 20th April 2018 at 12 Noon. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Wasdale Mountain Rescue or Patterdale Mountain Rescue, c/o Edmondson Longmire Funeral Service, 3 Oak Street, Windermere, LA23 1BH. Tel 01539443427.
Following the service we will be having drinks and sandwiches at the Old England Hotel which is located immediately next door to St Martin’s. You will all be most welcome to join us there to chat and recount some good times from the past.
If you are thinking of coming to the service we would appreciate you letting us know so that we can have an approximate idea of numbers”
