With the top and bottom two places in Durham & Northumberland 1 now finalised, Percy Park and Alnwick played for pride only,and Park avenged the defeat earlier in the season away to Alnwick, with a better performance at Preston Avenue to win 38 - 5.

Park led 14 - 0 at half time aginst the elements, and in the second half extended their lead with further tries by Liam Casey and Craig Firth and again Rutter was accurate with the kicks to lead 28 - 0. Alnwick cut the deficiet with a try by Alistair Gains, but the home side struck back with two more tries from Dave Griffiths and captain Greg Dixon.
On the second XV pitch Park Lions took on a strong Alnwick II in the semi final of the Northumberland Challenge No2 Cup, and although they took an early lead with a penalty by Phil Morse, the more experienced Northumbrians ran out eventual winners 34 - 3 to book a final place against Tynedale Raiders.
Away at Alnwick a combined Percy Park Pumas and Marauders side took on a combined Alnwick 3rd and 4th team. Park were only able to field 9 players for the Marauders due to late cry off's, but Alnwick III were short due, so common sense prevailed, and a mixed game with rolling subs allowed all the players from both squads to get a game. Park ran out eventual winners.
Next week, Percy Park Ist XV play Morpeth away in the semi final of the Northumberland Challenge No1 Cup, and the Lions are scheduled to play Berwick away. Park Pumas meet Tynedale Grasshoppers in the final of the No3 Cup which at the moment is expected to take place at Whitley Bay Rockcliff ko 2pm.
