Wigton 23 Percy Park 3
Park travelled across to Cumbria on a fine day and enjoyed perfect playing conditions and warm hospitality from our hosts.
Park dominated the first half and were left scratching their heads at half time at how the score was only 3-3, with Zak Rutter kicking a penalty in response to an earlier Wigton effort. Park played most of the rugby in Wigton's 22, only for poor hands, drives being held up over the line and running over the dead ball line denying scoring points.

Percy Park 78 Ponteland 0
Park got back to winning ways in style against a large but disapointing Ponteland side. In a one sided encounter, first half trys were scored by D. McFarlane, R Watts(2), J Dent(2), A Galbraith, A Littlefield, J Davidson and M Robson for a 51-0 scoreline. Guys were introduced from the bench into the second half with another five trys being touched down through T Brodie(3), H Stock and S Williamson before the referee took pity on the opposition and shortened the game. Final score 78-0, though the referee had it at 88-0!

Cup success for Academy under17's.
Percy Park Academy entered under 17 and under 18 sides into the county cup 7's hosted by Berwick on Sunday 13th September.
The under 17's played some fantastic team rugby throughout the competition, defeating Morpeth 29 - 7, Tynedale 26 - 0, Ponteland 26 - 0, and Tynedale again in the final 36 - 7. Defensive organisation was the mainstay of each performance with work in training alongside Park's senior players clearly reaping benifit.
The under 18's sufferered with the withdrawl of a number of players due to injury but put up very creditable performances, defeating Rockcliff and Gosforth before losing to a very strong North Shields side in the semi finals.
Many thanks to parents for transport and tremendous support over the whole of the competition.
