In an effort to protect games for Saturday 19/01/2013 the match against Durham School has been postponed. We hope to fulfill that fixture on Wednesday 30/01/13. There will be no training this week. The reason is simple: the pitches have absorbed too much water and will easily cut up rendering them unplayable.Worth missing a week to play on Saturday.

Westoe have also made contact. The away game on Saturday 26/01/2013 will be rearranged to another date. Westoe have a National Cup game that weekend.

Yet again the weather has scuppered our best laid plans....so role on (fingers crossed) this Saturday.

Reminder for our 're arranged fixture' v Durham School on Wednesday evening (16/01/2013). Meet at PPRFC at 6pm for a 7pm kick off.

Training game...everybody is involved.

I seem to be giving best wishes every week to an injured player or supporter. This weeks turn goes to our own Michael' Castro' Grove who bust his nose on Saturday. He will be out for 3 to 4 weeks. Fortunatly for Michael his nose can be straightned enhancing his already 'Cuban' good looks.

Just a thought...in all the years I played rugby the one part of my body that did not get broken was my nose...suprising as litte S says its the biggest part of my anatomy!!!.

Xmas news for you all

Connor's Xmas do is on 23/12/2012 at the club....need to be there boys.All the news is on Facebook

Boxing day match at Rockcliffe...this will be a development game where hopefully some of our academy team might get the opportunity to play.KO at 2.15pm

On the 27th our own band Lisbon are playing the Wooden Doll with a start time of 7pm. A good night is guaranteed.The boys are seriously good.

The game v Carlisle on Saturday (15/12/12) has been confirmed with a kick off at 2:15pm. The weather forecast is 'good' (meaning the pitches should not be frozen flooded or messed up) so the game should go ahead. If I was a sub or a supporter  I would wear some warm rainproof clothing as it is likely to be wet !!

Training is on at Park ( Wednesday night).

An addittional bit of news is that Connor has organized another XMAS party night at the Club for you all...when I can confirm the date I will.
