We are delighted to let you know that Percy Park’s application to the Tesco Bags of Help Grant Scheme has been successful and the “Changing Rooms” project will be put forward to a customer vote in local Tesco stores during May and June 2017.

Our project along with two other projects in the region will go forward to a vote in Tesco stores where customers will decide the outcome by voting for their favourite project each time they shop. Voting will take during May and June and we will be notified by the end of July 2017 confirming the amount of funding we will receive. The project with the highest number of votes across the region will receive up to £4,000, the second placed project up to £2,000 and the third placed project £1,000.

To vote, you will need to make a purchase within store of any value. You will receive one token per transaction and it's not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token.

The 1st XV return to league action this Saturday and take on Bradford & Bingley at Preston Avenue. The game sponsored by Carlsberg kicks off at 3pm, and the pre-match lunch at 1.30pm.

The Lions play the first of their two finals and take on Morpeth Reivers in the Northumberland Senior Shield. The game takes place at Ponteland RFC and the kick off is 2pm.

Sadly we have to report that Life Member and Former President George Carr  passed away this morning Thursday 12th January 2017. George was the driving force behind the redevelopment of the club house at Percy Park.

Private Service and Cremation followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St Helen's Church, Whitley Chapel, Hexham on Wednesday 25th January 2017 at 11.30am.

The Annual Boxing Day game between Percy Park and Whitley Bay Rockcliff takes place at Rockcliff this year. Ko is at 2pm.

The Park bar will be open from 12 noon onwards.
