Driffield 32 - 6 Percy Park
Percy Park gave Driffield a shock, and it wasn't until injury time that the Kellythorpe side put the game out of reach.
Percy Park made the journey to Driffield hoping to continue the form which saw recent victories against Durham City and Whitley Bay Rockcliff. There were two enforced changes to the side with Michael Langlands coming in at blind side for Greg Dixon who decided to take a last minute holiday (in the rugby season!), and David Griffiths moved to fullback for the holidaying Liam Casey.
Percy Park travelled to Rockcliff and emphasised the difference in league status with a comprehensive 10 try victory.
This was always going to be a difficult derby match for the hosts playing their rugby in Durham and Northumberland II and the vistors Percy Park two leagues higher in North 2 East. Their task was not made any easier by the unavailability of their Irish contingent, and Park being able to field an almost full strength side.Percy Park 24 - 5 Durham City
Durham City travelled to Preston Avenue on the back of 3 consecutive league wins and had won convincingly 55 - 0 in the earlier encounter between the sides at Hollowdrift.
