Northumberland 3rdXV Cup Final     : Percy Park 15 - 3 Tynedale

Park Pumas and Tynedale Grasshoppers met again in a repeat of last year's final, with Percy Park hoping to avenge the defeat.
Park had been finalists for the last 3 consecutive years, aiming to repeat their cup final victory of 2006.The game took place at Whitley Bay Rockcliff, and Tynedale were favourites to retain the cup, and opened the scoring with an early penalty kick.

Northumberland Challenge Cup Semi Final

Morpeth 17 - 14 Percy Park 

In a repeat of last year's semi final, Park made Morpeth fight all the way for their win, to meet the victors of the other semi final, Tynedale or Northern. In fact Percy Park could have won the match if the catch and drive from a line out in the home side 22, hadn't been adjudged held up, with two minutes remaining on the clock.

With the top and bottom two places in Durham & Northumberland 1 now finalised, Percy Park and Alnwick  played for pride only,and Park avenged the defeat earlier in the season away to Alnwick, with a better performance at Preston Avenue to win 38 - 5.

Park hit twice in the first half with tries by Carl Griffiths and centre Craig Firth, both converted by Marcus Rutter who returned to the Ist XV after five months out of the squad due to a serious eye injury sustained back in October against Sunderland.

PERCY PARK 35 - 24 GOSFORTH

This was a keenly contested cup tie which Park won in the second half after trailing 10 - 16 at the break. For the neutral, (and there were a few in the crowd on this non league Saturday), this was an entertaining and high scoring game, with both sides keen to spin the ball.
